A More Optimistic Ranking

Indianapolis is ranked the 17th cleanest city in the U.S., based on a study done by Readers’ Digest which ranked the 50 most populous metros based on air, water, toxins, hazardous waste, and sanitation. The top 3 cities were Portland, San Jose and Buffalo. Chicago ranked dead last, followed closely by New York City.

I bet we would move up even further if they would do something about that pollutant-spouting factory located on the near south side. Nothing ruins a great sunrise like a billowing cloud of black smoke hovering over the downtown area.

But that's just me.

But see, that black cloud keeps out the UV and protects us from skin cancer. In the end, we all win!

Plus, we'll never be depressed because it's cloudy...because we'll never know if it is or not!!
